You must bring a partner if you enroll in the 9 pm class
We can arrange a partner for you for the 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm classes. If you want us to arrange for a partner, please note the following:
A limit of 15 singles per class will be accepted in the Thursday classes. If you are accepted as a “single” student in of our Thursday classes, the class committee will do its best to secure a partner for you (an “angel”) for the session, although we do not absolutely guarantee a partner each night because emergencies do arise. As it is very difficult to find extra partners, we would like to remind you that there are some responsibilities on your part in exchange for this privilege:
- You must inform the class committee in advance if you will be unable to attend a particular night, preferably 6 hours in advance, so that we can re-adjust partners and/or notify an “angel” that he/she will not be needed. This basic courtesy is very important as some of the angels drive great distances just to help out in this capacity. (call Dee at 314-965-8852).
- You may not ask someone to be your non-paying partner who regularly serves as an angel. That is the committee’s responsibility. The committee will make sure an angel is capable of dancing in the intermediate or international class.
- You may find a partner on your own who is also going to pay for the class. You will be assigned a partner (angel) on a first-come, first-served basis. Late comers who did not register in advance stand little chance of having a partner.
We are a non-profit organization.
